I found out in April that I was expecting my first child. HOLY CRAP!!! I freaked out! After I freaked out, I told myself that I could do this and thus began my journey to motherhood. I began preparing myself, first mentally, and then physically for what was about to happen. My pregnancy was extremely easy. I didn't have my first ultrasound until I was 26 weeks along...I did not know I was pregnant until just before then. Luckily, everything was fine. Baby was measuring big but was extremely healthy. Whew! What a relief!! I continued working full time until the day before I had my little guy. On Friday the 17th of August I did not go into work because I was having contractions. By the evening of the 17th, my parents were driving to my house to take me to the hospital. We got to LDS hospital just to be told I was not dilating and would have to be sent home. This was EXTREMELY frustrating because I was already 5 days past my due date. I decided instead of going home, I would go back to Springville with my parents. The next morning, which was Saturday August 18th, I was having severe contractions that would range from 4 minutes to 6 minutes and I was not able to talk through them. We decided to go to UVRMC in Provo just in case I was still not dilating and had to be sent home again. What was the verdict? You guessed it, still not dilating and had to be sent home. The was even more frustrating because I thought, "How can I be in SO much pain but have NOTHING happening?" Well, I went back to my parents house frustrated and in pain. Throughout the day the contractions became stronger and stronger. Finally I told my mom we had to go the hospital. This time we were going to go back to LDS since that is where I am supposed to deliver. Meanwhile, my mom had called the on call doctor from my doctors office and informed him that I was having many contractions. He then told her that I needed to head in and if I was making progress he would have them keep me. My mom let him know that I DID NOT want to be turned away AGAIN. He stated if he had any power to keep me there, he would. So thus began our final journey up to LDS hospital. By the time we got to the hospital, my contractions were so strong I had to be wheel-chaired up to the 4th floor because I could not walk. When we got there, I informed the nurse that I would not be leaving the hospital again. They may send me away but I would sit in the lobby until they would allow me to stay. They kind of laughed but I was dead serious. They got me into my room, checked me, and to my disappointment, nothing was happening. However, there is a silver lining to this story. The nurse asked me when my due date was. I informed her it was last Sunday August 12th. She called the doctor who said, because I was going to be 41 weeks at midnight, they would admit me and induce labor. THANK YOU HEAVENLY FATHER! is exactly what crossed my mind. I decided to have an epidural and boy am I glad I did. Since I was not dilating, the doctor decided to try petosin. They tried it a few times. However, the baby did not like the petosin and his heart rate would drop each time they tried to use it. After about 6 hours of active labor and continued failure with petosin, I was only dilated to a 7. The final shot of petosin they tried was so hard on the baby, his heart rate fell to 60. They immediately turned it off and we all collectively decided a C-section would be best for the baby and for me. I knew this was a possibility but I was still really nervous. They prepped me for the delivery. I decided I wanted my mom in the room with me. I cannot describe the feelings I felt when I heard him cry for the first time. I began to cry tears of joy that he was ok. I think a part of those tears were tears of disbelief. I was officially a mom!!! All of a sudden my world had changed and what I wanted or needed no longer mattered because I have a little person to take care of. His needs would always come before mine or anyone elses. I didn't understand how I could love someone so much I had not yet seen, only heard. My mom went to the nursery after the delivered him. Meanwhile, I was still lying on the table. The anesthisioligist could see I was having kind of a hard time so he asked me what type of music I like. The first band that came to mind was Journey so he pulled out his phone and put Journey radio on Pandora. We pretty much rocked out to Journey and that genre of music for the rest of the time they were closing me up. Dr. Peterson will never know how much I appreciate what he did for me. It really took my mind off of what was happening.
After the doctors were finished, they wheeled me back to my room where the big moment of finally meeting my son occured. They brought him in and I was wowed but how adorable he was. Below is one of his first pictures. He weighed in at 6 lbs 5 oz and was 20 inches long. I had a skinny, tall little guy.

It is not that I have no confidence. Anyone that knows me, knows this is not true. However, the more time passes, I continue to hate how I look. I may be considered big boned but the extra weight I carry has nothing to do with my bones. This is my crutch standing in my way of happiness and joy in my life. It is really easy to blame difficult times in my life but when it comes down to it, every decision I make about my eating habits is just that, MY DECISION. The reason I decided to join Weight Watchers is because it is not just another diet, it really is a life change. It helps people track what they eat. I kept thinking "I don't eat that much" but tracking it is not only going to show me what poor decision I make when choosing my foods but also how much I really consume in one day. I am excited to change the way I think about food and exercise. NO MORE EXCUSES!!!!! I will try updating this daily, but lets be honest here, who has the time. I will update it at least 3 times per week. Thanks for supporting me!Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-52656909556561049182011-10-23T17:19:00.000-06:002011-10-23T17:19:51.265-06:00My LifeI just realized I have not updated my blog in 5 months....my bad! Not much about the way my life is has changed. I now live with Brandon and Wendy, which is nice because I can get up each morning and go downstairs and watch Chase and Emma in my pj's. This also means I do not have to take my work clothes with me to their house. We moved from Salt Lake to Murray. It is such a nice place! I have my own "apartment" upstairs. I have my own room and bathroom. It is fun living with Brandon, Wendy, Chase, and Emma.

Moving on to work. Last update I was mentoring new staff. Since then I was given the opportunity to start coaching paralegals in Client Services. Which means I sit and listen to their calls and provide them with feedback, if they want it, on how to shorten call times, aftercall times and meet the stats needed in the department. After about 3 weeks of coaching, I was given the opportunity to start training the paralegals going from IWC to Client Services. This took 3 weeks of going through the classes again then slowly training sections at a time, while the full time trainer watched. Once he was sure I could do it, he let me be on my own. So far I have trained 6 classes. It has been such a learning and growing experience for me. The company has been making changes so a few team lead positions opened up. I applied for one and just found out on Friday that I did well enough in my first interview to move on to a second interview, which is tomorrow. The team lead would be up in IWC. I am so excited that I have a chance. I will update my blog when I find out if I got the job or not.

Moving on to my personal life.....what personal life? I am just going to vent for a second so pardon me. How am I supposed to find someone nice when the "nice" ones only want a certain type? Am I looking in the wrong places? I am really hoping my new singles ward will be my answer, although I am going to church to learn, not to look. We will see where this leads me.

I know I have missed out on the past 4 months of my life and only given you a brief update on the present. Maybe one day I will fill you in. Until then, keep reading :)Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-59596813889857136212011-05-19T22:12:00.000-06:002011-05-19T22:12:48.788-06:00New PostWell folks, the whole 5 of you that read my blog....LOL I have decided to update this fantastic blog just for my Aunt Katie ;)

My life is pretty standard right now. I have the privilege of watching my adorable niece Emma Grace and awesome nephew Chase Ian during the week. I also work an evening job at Lexington Law Firm. I LOVE both of my jobs. Although, I cannot technically call watching Emma and Chase a job because I am the aunt and I don't consider it a job.....it is a gift to me to get to spend more time with them. I only wish I could do this with all of my nieces and nephews :)

Updates on work: I started in IWC, was moved to Client Services, then finally back up to IWC to train new staff. I am excited that I am moving around and can learn to teach through what we call mentoring.

I was having an issue with my car....the muffler just fell off one day. Ghetto, I know, but thanks to my dad, I was able to get it fixed and now we are back to good.

I have been going to Vegas quite a bit lately. It is really easy when Holly and I have a friend who has an apartment and is willing to let us stay there ANYTIME we want. I am not sure what is so attractive about getting away but, at times, I find it very difficult to come back.

Recently I had the opportunity to see Wicked with a lot of the lovely ladies in my family. All I have to say is IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT YOU NEED TO! It will totally change your perspective on the Wizard of Oz. We went to Idaho and stayed in a hotel in Boise. It was nice and relaxing! Thanks Mom!!!

Well, this update is officially done.Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-18450769826265231832011-02-27T08:35:00.000-07:002011-02-27T08:35:51.589-07:00Moving day...Soooo I found a place to live in Salt Lake. It is house on a corner with a picket fence....it is so cute!

I will have 2 super nice roommates.

Well today is my partial moving day. I am going to be moving my clothes, a recliner, and my t.v. and night stand :)

Now all that is left is the big stuff, which will be moved next weekend.

On a side note, I am still loving my job!

When I am feeling more motivated to write on my blog, I will.Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-46027158078933287642010-12-22T21:44:00.000-07:002010-12-22T21:44:47.410-07:00The update of the century!Well folks, I have the motivation to update my blog!

So since I have been back from Florida, not much has changed except.....

I GOT TWO JOBs AND I LOVE THEM!!!!!
I now work for Brandon and Wendy watching Emma and Chase and at Lexington Law Firm helping people repair their credit.

I show up at Brandon's at 6:30am and stay there and play with Emma and Chase until around 1pm. When Brandon gets home, I leave for my other job. I work from 2pm-10pm at Lexington.

Here is what I love about these jobs....
* I get the opportunity to spend a lot of time with Emma and Chase, which makes working 2pm-10pm totally worth it!
* When I go to work, I am glad to be there and don't mind working the evening shift.
* I work so much I won't have a lot of time to spend my money on unnecessary items.
* I get to meet cool new people.
* I get to leave work at work and home at home.
* My job is permanent, no more of this temporary non-sense!
* I get to dress up for work, in fact it is a requirement.

As my life is changing for the better, I realize how much obeying the commandments has blessed my life. I would not change anything about my life, because my experiences have molded me into the person I am today and for once I can honestly say, I am happy with that person!!!

I hope all who read this have a wonderful holiday season!Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-85869265213137291412010-10-23T12:23:00.000-06:002010-10-23T12:23:35.387-06:00Not feeling myself lately....I am not sure why, but I have not been feeling like my happy self lately. Maybe it is because I miss the other part of my family. Maybe it is because Satan knows I am doing what I am supposed to and putting these negative thoughts in my head. Who knows what it is....not me. All I know is I long for the day when I really laugh again....we will see how long until then.Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-58701891541573648922010-10-17T21:35:00.000-06:002010-10-17T21:35:39.492-06:00Dating Sites....Yes or NoThis post is more of a poll than anything else. Now that I am single again, I have seriously contemplated whether or not I should try (and pay for) a dating website such as LDS Singles or one like it. The reason being, I am wondering, mostly to myself, if it would be easier to find many dates instead of seeing one person consistently. So here it is: Would you ever, or have you ever, considered a dating website and do you think it is a good idea to fork over money to join one? Yes or No? Why or Why not?Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-78227529128971159882010-09-17T18:28:00.000-06:002010-09-17T18:28:05.587-06:00My adventure to FloridaSo....on 9/4 I began the long car ride from the town of Springville, UT across the country to a small town in Florida called Navarre. It is in the panhandle and is located nearly 30 miles from Pensacola. The first day was long. Erin, who happened to be my driving partner, and I drove through Utah, the southern tip of Colorado, and part of New Mexico. I must say, the worst drivers reside in New Mexico and speed limit signs are nowhere to be found. We stopped in Albuquerque to sleep. I must say, the lodgings were AWESOME!!!! The next day we awoke early and started day 2 of our trip. This included traveling through the other half of New Mexico and began our journey through 627 miles of Texas......Not much happened along the way except we stopped at this gas station in NM that had disgusting bugs along the sidewalk completely dead and probably cooked!!!!! Let me say again, it was DISGUSTING!!! Once we got into Texas, the drive seemed to take FOREVER! We drove for almost 11 hours on day 2 and ended up in Dallas, TX, where, once again, the lodgings were fantastic! Once again, we slept. The only difference is on the third day, we awoke at 6am and was on the road by 6:45am. We drove through the rest of Texas........it took forever!! The next state we entered was Mississippi, which was a short drive compared to Texas. Then we hit Alabama. We were so close and both getting very anxious to arrive. At that point we were starving so we stopped at Cracker Barrel and had a delicious meal. After filling our tummies, we continued our drive over the Alabama water into Florida. The journey was very nearly coming to an end and we were both extremely happy about it. We arrived in Navarre around 8pm and began unpacking my car. Luckily, Nate was here to assist. Erin stayed until Tuesday, which unfortunately was only one day :( Since I arrived, I have applied for many jobs and had the luck of being able to hang out with Nate, Amber and cute little Garrett. Two days after I got here, a lady in Nate and Amber's ward offered me a twin sized bed, complete with a head and foot board. I now have a bed and am loving it. Not much else has happened since I have been here. I would like all the haters out there who thought my car would crap out to know......it is still running and has not had one problem since leaving Utah:) There will be more to come as more adventure start happening.Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-56002124993852179872010-07-26T13:37:00.000-06:002010-07-26T13:39:56.324-06:00The Decision 2010I know I am not Lebron or Dwayne Wade but here is my big decision for 2010. I am moving to Florida on September 4th to live with Nate, Amber and Garrett. I am excited for what is ahead of me. This is a new adventure. Thank you Nate and Amber for offering up your home to me! Love you guys!!!Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-17499041545264733282010-07-17T07:58:00.000-06:002010-07-17T09:08:08.529-06:00The much needed update......I have not blogged in awhile, not for lack of time....I have plenty of time on my hands these days. Let's start off with the events leading up to me being single. I filed divorce papers on 4/1/2010 and I left Moussa on April 3rd and moved in with my mom. I knew this was my only time to leave because Moussa was working on a Saturday for the first time since we got married....to me, this was a sign from above. I thought it would be hard, and some days it is, but overall, I am more happy now than I have been since we started dating....sad, I know! I see him in the most random places but Utah County is small so I cannot think that I will never see him again. So now I am living with my mom and sister. The divorce was finalized on 5/17/10. It helped that we did not have any assets or children during our marriage.

Now to happier things. I have been able to spend more time with my family and am loving every minute of it. Below you will see a picture of my goofy adorable nephew Chase. I asked him to strike a pose and this is what he did....

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 242px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7jz0ibn3_npJUTD89x1pXAZyALvWXExIIkXZZcx8L-JJ1Yso0Dpf5zkD-apX8iM23bziSGFphUdTO6QmY0YYJto3_yAH1UwO503lYeVjwSRMNWHNV9UXfL7Zeuw81HhRuiXRnDwo35jo/s320/Chase.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5494889333650819986" />

We have been able to spend a lot of time with him this summer. Especially the last week of June beginning of July when Nate, Amber and Garrett came for a visit. Chase and Garrett got to play together the entire week they were here. We had SOO much fun! Here is a picture of two of the cutest boys in the world! Chase helped Garrett discover Daisy's doggy door.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 242px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCQ1M-Heg7RPVoqT9fq4xjpMIgh7H6JchUWpBh7GcKJddHQKJkc6Ox0BxbeRWtLtIwW8IaEA1J7kg0i3dwAJwyiPWX9MGqAhpkIqyWHburbKI3nb6hRLZVA8-PUxq_K6l5_ZT7ct8-Svc/s320/my+two+favorite+guys.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5494890011594189810" />

Having Nate, Amber and Garrett here was so much fun. I was able to take time off work so I could spend time with them. On Saturday, July 3rd, we had a family party with all of the aunts, uncles and cousins. Everyone was able to come. It was a blast!!!

After Nate and Amber left, I got to work for another week at StubHub. My assignment ended on 7/9/2010 and was a very sad day for me. I will miss all of the people I worked with...especially Jessica! I was able to meet some really great people while working there. After I lost my job, my cousin Rachel called me and asked me if I would be able to watch her 3 adorable daughters....of course I said yes! They are so much fun to tend!!!

Last Saturday, I went to the Scottish Festival in Payson. My dad is a member of the Saint Andrews Society and they had a booth there. Brandon, my dad and Chase all have Kilts in the colors of the Murray Clan. Below is a picture of my mom and Chase. Chase has his kilt on and, if I do say so myself, looks pretty darn cute!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 242px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhi_4Xv_jhuT6jC9u-gshIH2mArQN5hSVpjIOd8eqFh8IOGSprUPpjhJknADRvXWOXPYzKh9lzTLmK0K5whJrkfb-hP-g9mVAdYeD3_fw5dfn6a6SNtnoyLoXAwwBIZsd_ergQilULQmgs/s320/Chase+and+mom+at+the+scottish+festival.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5494891782724352274" />

Overall, my life is going pretty well. I was not too excited to watch conference this year b/c there is so much I need to work on within myself. However, I have recently made a drastic change in my life for the better. So here I am, sitting in my mom's living room watching President Monson give the very first address to the world. I love the way he speaks of his wife with so much respect and love. I hope to one day have a man in my life that will talk about me that way.

As Easter approaches I have had time to reflect on the death and resurrection of the Savior. I don't very often do this. Today as I sit here watching conference I am aware of the great sacrifice the Lord made for me so one day I can return to live with my Heavenly Father. I am so grateful that the Savior would die for me! I know I don't repent as often as I should. I hope to one day become like Christ so I can see my family in Heaven.

I am grateful for my trials and tribulations that are set before me. I know each trial is given so I can grow closer to the Lord. I have not always made the right choices but the choices I have made have molded me to be the person I am today.

I wish all who read this a happy Easter. May we all remember the reason for the Easter season and know that God loves each and every one of us.Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-4369397672682891332010-03-21T07:22:00.000-06:002010-03-21T07:24:54.876-06:00New projectI woke up this morning with the thought to sell Avon. It is only $10 to start and I think I know a few people who will buy from me. I hope to grow this business into something useful. If any of you buy Avon and are willing to buy from me, leave a comment on here. As soon as I get all signed up, I will start sending you catalogs...even if I have to send it via mail. (that was a hint for those of you not in Utah, wink wink!)Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-92213715168802616472010-02-10T08:56:00.000-07:002010-02-10T08:58:14.084-07:00Updates on New years resolutions:So I have already completed one of my new years resolutions and it is only February! This time of year is so emotional for me and I am not sure why. When I hear certain songs on the radio, while driving to work at 3am, I will literally begin to cry. Breath of Heaven, Mary Did You Know(sung by Kenny Rogers) and Believe(sung by Josh Groben) never fail to get the tears flowing.

This year is a time for loving each other and for missing the ones that are no longer here physically. December 16th always has a special place in my heart for two reasons. This is my Grams Rasmussen's birthday and the day my Grandpa Fleming passed away. I miss them both so much! I know they are both in heaven watching over me and my entire family.....heck, I think Uncle Rob was sent to heaven to teach Grandpa Fleming the truth! I know there is a reason for this season! I know it is to celebrate the birth of our Savior but I also believe it is a time to celebrate the lives of all those who have gone before us. As this season nears to the end, I pray that we can have the Christmas Spirit all year through.Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-12574709146406165282009-12-18T06:36:00.000-07:002009-12-18T06:41:35.275-07:00Today is the DAY!!!!Well folks, today is the big day! Moussa is leaving for Mali for 3 weeks. It is really important for him to be able to do this because it has been so long since he has been home. I wish I could go with him but the tickets are just too expensive.

So the end of the semester has arrived for me! My last final was last night. Surprisingly, I feel like I did pretty well on all of my finals. YES, including my biology final. I will find out Monday what I got on it.

That is pretty much all for now but I will try to be better at blogging.....Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-31733496156104891172009-10-18T10:22:00.000-06:002009-10-18T10:35:19.438-06:00Life since July....So here I am sitting at my computer trying to do my research paper for english and got sidetracked by my blog(never a good thing)...So much has happened since July. Moussa's sister Kadi came to visit and was here until October 2nd. She and Moussa have a great relationship. It was nice to see him laugh so much. Moussa and I have both started school at UVU. He only have about 2 semesters until he has his 2nd bachelors, that's right, second. I am currently taking English 2010, Biology 1010, Math 950(Prealgebra....) and Student Success. I have too many semesters left to count!

In September, my mom, Kalie and I took a trip to Florida for a much needed vacation and visit to Nathan, Amber and little Garrett. We had a blast. We went to the beach a few times, played in the hotel pool A LOT and went fishing off the boardwalk. Kalie caught 2 fish. The first one was very pretty. It had a yellow tail and kind of reminded me of Finding Nemo(the movie, not the fish). It was so nice to see my little brother and his cute family. I miss them so much. Especially since Garrett is now so full of energy. While we were there, Garrett became used to us coming to his house and by the third day, his face would light up with excitement when we walked in the door. I love that little guy!

Just a few weeks ago, my mom, me, Brandon, Wendy, Chase and my dad went up Provo Canyon to ride the Haunted Creeper(Heber Creeper). It was fun. Chase dressed up in his Halloween costume. This year, he has decided to be Darth Vador, mask is included! While we were on the ride, there were a few characters that scared Chase to tears. However, once he put that mask on, he began yelling back at the "scary people". It was by far, the funniest thing I have ever seen. Overall, we had a great time!

I am still working at StubHub and love it!! Moussa is still at Xango and he likes his job.

Well that is it for now. As things happen, I will try and find the time to post them so I don't have to do 3 months worth in a day.Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-47369093963703317812009-07-04T12:30:00.000-06:002009-07-04T12:31:41.405-06:00Update coming soon...Our lives have been very busy with so many fun things to celebrate. I have not had time to post pictures but they will be coming very soon!!!!!Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-75754844180068992842009-06-09T17:12:00.000-06:002009-06-09T17:25:01.522-06:00Tell All Tuesday....Not much has been going on but since I never post anything I guess we will see what I have to say.

A few weeks ago I went to Lagoon with my mom, Brandon, Wendy, Chase, my dad and Erin(for a little while as she had to work). It was actually pretty fun. I did not go on too many rides but had fun watching Chase enjoy them. I think I will probably go again this summer.

Moussa successfully got a car!!! It actually runs...LOL. It is a 1992 Honda Civic. We are now considering ourselves "the Honda" family. As long as it runs we are happy with it. Moussa officially starts graduate school in July. We are so excited for him to start. It will take him 18 months. When he is finished, he will have his Masters in Business with an emphasis in accounting and his CPA. I am very proud of him for being motivated! He is still loving his job.

I have started my job and am getting used to working 40 hour work weeks again. It is nice to be able to go to work and leave work at work. I am not on call nor do I have to work any extra hours and not get paid for the job I do. I am still at Moosie's Woodworks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3pm-7pm. The extra money is NICE!!! Moussa and I were thinking about moving closer to work and school but have decided to stay in our apartment. It is hard to find a nice place with free cable and internet. The only downside to staying there is we still have to pay for laundry or go to mom's house. I have to say, at first I was kinda bummed that we are staying in Provo but now, mom and I are carpooling to work/school and I LOVE IT! It gives mom and I a chance to catch up on each other's lives(not that mine is that exciting).

June 26th is coming quickly.....that would be Moussa and my 1 year anniversary. I cannot believe it has been a year already! It feels like we have been married for a few months.

That is about all I have to say at this point. I guess it was more than I expected it to be...haha. I hope you all have a fantastic week!!!!Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-62396165470112054632009-05-26T18:10:00.000-06:002009-05-26T18:16:22.944-06:00"Tell All" TuesdayFor some reason I keep thinking today is Wednesday....not sure why.

Not much to tell this week.

Moussa still does not have a car as the car he got SUCKED and was returned. I started my job at Ebay and like it. My schedule is Thursday thru Monday. I thought it was going to be a call center but it turns out it is strictly email. That was GOOD news!!!!

Moussa and I will need to move because our lives are pretty much up between Highland and Sandy. I have found a few apartments to look at so wish us luck!!!!

Tune in for more "tell all" Tuesday next week.Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-72913252323109804722009-05-20T08:00:00.000-06:002009-05-20T08:00:00.576-06:00Wordless Wednesday<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhec2UrEsVB97hUcCZZnWldLH90LecdL7U30WnX-1KKNf8tKNJD8pLMMww-Ux6f5sns8kpAckUaKi5zocY00MR67XJeo8sahghiP0AXR1wVKMYkppOpGNq1iT5oSLBA-65hoQ3kBm-qq3Y/s320/116.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5337725591917882850" />Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-39523875645308952652009-05-19T20:08:00.001-06:002009-05-19T20:12:24.602-06:00"Tell All" TuesdayI am gonna start something new! It is called "Tell All" Tuesday which will be a weekly update on life.

Moussa bought a car, got it home and the radiator was leaking and brakes were bad(yes he test drove it the week before and everything was fine then). He called and told me about it so I strongly suggested he return the car to the previous owner. Luckily he was dealing with a nice man and got his money back. So we are back to square one looking for a car.

I start my job tomorrow. I will be working 40 hours per week WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!! I will post more about it as soon as I start!

Hope all is well for EVERYONE!!!Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2980165274780747747.post-20605904586985991092009-05-14T12:31:00.000-06:002009-05-14T12:40:12.533-06:00A much needed update on my life.....Since the last post, a few fun things have happened. My family and I went camping for the first time....it rained and we had to leave early but it was FUN! Brandon(my older brother), his wife Wendy, their son Chase and I have taken up fishing. As of today, we have not caught anything but we are trying out new places and methods. We are planning an exciting trip to strawberry reservoir this weekend and are planning to do some fishing while there.

I have recently been offered a job working in Draper for E-Bay in their "subhub". I am excited to start working FULL-TIME. My first day is Wednesday May 20, 2009!

My cousin Brett got married on Saturday May 9, 2009 and we are very proud of him! The very next day was mothers day and my cute cousin Rachel(Brett's sister) went in to labor and had her adorable little girl Abigail Lynn Loeffler. Congrats Rachel and Andrew!!!!

Moussa is still loving his job! His car died a few weeks ago so he has been looking for a new car...and a few days ago he found it! Thank heavens for answered prayers!!!Kjirshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01613230630873364751noreply@blogger.com0
